THETA TAU ANIMATED RECRUITMENT VIDEO
This idea for this video project was to create a text animation, similar to those used by companies like Deloitte, for recruitment purposes.
The first steps were scripting and storyboarding. The script was mainly a statement of the organization's history and values. I left the storyboard purposefully vague, only including the basic graphics and words involved, because I was working with a new software and wanted to let its capabilities dictate the project's direction.
I chose to do the actual animations with Animaker software. While there are some graphics available, this video required mostly custom graphics since it's such a specific audience. One example is the Cornell imagery like the clocktower:
Once I had created all the necessary graphics and made sure they matched the overall aesthetic, I needed to animate them and adjust the timing to work in the scheme of the video.
